CHIPHAS

The Legacy Foundation Japan recently had the opportunity to attend the “Jafronese”, Black and Yellow” exhibition by Nigerian artist CHIPHAS and Japanese artist Louis Terai. We highly recommend this excellent experience on display at the Monkey Cafe until the 4th of August. Check out our story on Instagram:

Delphine Diallo embarked on a journey to train with Master Zen Takai, a descendant of a lineage of samurai stretching back sixteen generations in Tsushima. In June, she participated in the space Un Residency Program in Yoshino, Nara, where she stayed to complete her collage works using materials shot in Teshima and reflected back on her journey. Delphine Diallo is a Senegalese-French photographer renowned for her captivating work. Recently appointed as an ambassador for Nikon UK, her photography has graced the pages of prestigious publications including The New York Times, National Geographic, Vogue Portugal, The Washington Post. Diallo's artistry extends to collections worldwide, with her works held in esteemed institutions such as the Baltimore Museum and the Private Collection Guerlain. Additionally, her pieces have found homes in the Permanent Collection of the Museum de la Femme Mougin and have garnered attention from acquisition committees at Tate and George Pompidou.
